Half at booking, the rest seven days before check-in. Chad sends a secure Lodgify payment link; this site never sees your card.

Get the door code before you arrive
Self check-in from 4 pm with a keypad or smart lock. Check-out is at 10 am.
Getting here from Arizona
Checked against the border agencies and local sources on 31 October 2026. We re-check these lines every season.
- Drive time. Phoenix and Tucson are 3.5 to 4 hours and about 215 miles away. Cross at Lukeville, then it is 60 miles on Highway 8, with no tolls and no services.
- Border hours. Lukeville is open 6 am to 8 pm. Sonora keeps the same clock as Arizona all year, so there is no time change.
- Documents. A passport book or card to come home, a birth certificate for children under 16. Fill in the free FMM tourist form online before you leave; it is checked at random.
- Your car. No vehicle permit in the Sonora free zone. Mexican liability insurance is required by law and a US policy does not count; buy it online before you cross.
- On the road. Keep to 25 mph through Sonoyta, expect a National Guard checkpoint 15 minutes north of town, and drive Highway 8 in daylight.
- Roadworks. Highway 8 is being rebuilt from September 2026 to May 2027. It stays open; allow extra time.
Is Rocky Point safe?
Thousands of Arizona families drive down every month. The US State Department rates Sonora at a level that asks travellers to reconsider, and its guidance for Puerto Peñasco has been the same for years: cross at Lukeville, stay on Highway 8, drive in daylight. Good to know
What is included in the total?
The nightly rate, the cleaning fee and tax. There is no platform service fee. Chad confirms the full amount before you pay.
Can I cancel?
Each condo shows its cancellation terms on the booking page before you confirm, and Chad is reachable by text if your plans change.
What should we bring?
Beach chairs are in every condo; Seas the Day also has an umbrella, beach towels and a wagon. Bring your own toiletries and sunscreen, and anything you want from a US grocery store; Puerto Peñasco has supermarkets for the rest.
When is the best time to come?
The sea is 86 to 88 °F in August and about 61 °F in January, when the heated pools matter. Spring break, Semana Santa, Thanksgiving and the Christmas week book out first.
Why does the beach change so much?
The tide here moves 13 to 16 feet. At low tide the beach doubles in size and you can walk out for a long way; at high tide the water comes up close. Check the tide table for the days you are here.
Wi-Fi, TV, air conditioning?
All four condos have Wi-Fi, smart TVs and air conditioning.
Can we bring our dog?
No pets at Bella Sirena, and none at Azure Oasis. For La Casa Princessa, ask Chad before you book.

Chad, by text, WhatsApp or phone. He lives here and sends someone the same day.
